Mig gas pressure
I have been mig welding for about 20 years. I have my own fab. shop with several employees. One employee that I have had for 1 year is a great welder & great at fabrication. I have one problem whith him. He is determened to run 35 PSI gas pressure. Now unless I have a high draft, I usualy run 15 PSI or 15 to 20 on a flow meter & never have a problem. No matter how many threats I make, when my back is turned, he has the pressure turned back up. I feel that this is a waste. I can't find a good instruction manual for gas pressure settings. If I can't get it through his thick head about gas pressure settings real soon, I will have to fire him. Any solutions?
