Mini metro 1275 wont start.please help me
Was going but will only start with the key after being push started..i put in new salenide ,reconditioned starter,coil,belt,plugs,and it still won't start.its not even sparking engine number is 12ha61aa 105982
engine was changed from a one litre austin to 1275 metro or so i was told..i have this car eight years and not a bother except i had to push start it..
please help me .i am wondering is it the wiring

hello..check your starter relay.there`s a wire which enters your starter...check it and re do the wires to it...
sourece had same prob and re done the wire and work fine now !!
Do the simple things first, remove a spark plug and have it earthed against the engine and check for a spark as you turn the engine, next check for fuel, by way of smell after a while the unburned fuel will make itself known, then for a small cost get a compression tester and check the compression, with these 3 it will start only by isolating the problem can you go further to solving the problem.
