Minolta 5600 flash on Sony A200 camera hot shoe problem
I am a volunteer chief in south Louisiana. We had a minolta camera which we lost in the hurricane in 2005. we still have a minolta 5600 flash which we have and does a wonderful job for us. we recently replaced our minolta camera with a sony a200 camera. The hot shoe on the camera does is not made strong enough to mount the flash. It has cracked two times. Please explain to me how we can mount the flash on a bracket to keep this from happening. we have contacted the people where we bought the flash from but for some reason they do not handle the sony product. I have figure out how to use the wireless feature between the camera and the flash but it is had to take a picture holding the flash in the air or have another person hold it . where can i get a bracket and chord to prevent the shoe from cracking again. thanks
Chief

This is what you need:
http://cgi.ebay.com/TTL-Cord-Flash-Bracket-Sony-Alpha-A700-Digital-Camera_W0QQitemZ290258666395QQihZ019QQcategoryZ48515QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
it screws into the mount underneath your camera, connects via a cord to your hotshoe mount, and your flash willl then sit next to your camera mounted on this flash bracket.
