Mitsubishi diamond pro says "no signal"?
Help, i got a diamond pro monitor which gives me the No Signal message.
The monitor does power up, so its not the power supply.
when i plug a computer into the vga connector, i dont get the signal, just the same box floating around saying no signal. Also if i press the menu button in the front of the monitor, i get no response to it.
any advice, help, tips & tricks are most welcome.
thanks

You have tried the monitor on more than one known good computer, yes?
I believe about 4" inside this monitor in the back the vga cable or connector connects to a board with an in-line connector. Can you see if this connector (internal to the monitor) in connected?
Good luck...
Yes, the cable is inside the chassis. It runs from the sub=15 vga connector affixed to the back of the unit (it may be wired straight though, though, depending on the model of mistsubishi) to a pcb in the back.
Other thing to check is the power supply board... just look and see if anything looks unhappy like an overly fat capacitor or a resitor or diode that looks smoked.
Best of luck,
