Mixer has just stopped
Model A200T. Mixer has just stopped working. The guard that goes in front of the mixer bowl does have a plastic piece that has been broken off. Could this be a safety switch of some kind? The mixer drive rotates so gears are not jammed. I have the hobart A200T and have the same problem . It won't start

The front wire gage to the gaurd does have a white plastic encapsulated magnet to operarte a switch behind the gaurd on the neck no magent no worky
