Model 800 Aprilaire steam humidifire I have installed an aprilaire humidifier and its time for the low voltage wiring. I am trying to wire the humidifier so just the blower comes on when there is a call for humidity. I am not using the duct mounted humidistat I am using a thermostat to sense humidity. There are 2 terminals on the thermostat for humidity and also 2 therminals on the humidifie for low voltage. So if i go from the thermostat to the furnace to R and G to the humidifire will that work? If so then will i need a relay so when the the furnace calls for heat and humidifer is running it wont short or burn somthing out?
