Check your cord and the power going in that your cord is not frayed or damaged in any area also you would have to remove the on switch and examine that it is connected properly definetly a short either in the cord or in the control if you have any further questions message me back I await your reply thanks again Rick

Hi This means you would need to clean the filter, to clean it turn the unit off and unplug it, then clean the filter completely. After cleaning if the issue returns then replace the filter. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance. Daniel
