Moen two handle kitchen faucet cannot remove cartridge
Cannot pull out either hot or cold cartridge. Both turn fine. Believe hard water sediment is problem. Cartridge model 1024. Dripping is problem. Believe model is about 7 years old.

I am not familiar with that particular model but on most moens there is a type of clip that looks somewhat like a washer in the shape of a horseshoe..... it slides into a groove in the stem of the faucet....... take a wire brush and wd 40 and clean the area ( i am assuming you have removed the faucet handle and crown btw turn water off under sink hot and cold) take a jewlers screw driver and try to slide down between the main part of the faucet and the cartridge.. you can also use a needle nose pliars to get it out then take pliars or vice grips and grab stem and pull out
