Monitor cannot be turned on
II have an X2Gen MG19VT 19" LCD
onitor purchased 1/30/06. Problem: The monitor does not go on9the screen is black). The AV adaptor shows a flickering light however no current is going thru to the monitor. The AC adaptor is made by Powertron Electronics Corp(PEC). Model # AD1250B. Input:100-240v-1.28 amps -61050Hz Ouput: 12v-4.17amps-50w max.
I have diconnected from computer given it a rest and the reconnected with no results. All wiring and adaptor checked for correct attachment.

You will need to check the power adaptor for voltage , if that checks out then you will have to check the power circut in the monitor, look at the protection component and diodes in the power circut
