Monitor menu keeps popping up for no apparent reason and pops out when it pleases. I've had it over a year and it just started doing this yesterday.Very annoying! IT JUST DID IT AGAIN!!! Tried system restore, didn't work

Are you running DVI or AGV? Try swapping from one to the other if it possible.
Is it a possible resolution notifier? My old LCD did that just to tell me what is what. Annoying as hell but I couldn't turn it off.
I can suggest turning the resolution down a level. See what happens there. Or possibly the refresh rate.
