Monitor powers on then goes black after a few minutes. Turn the monitor off and on again it resumes working for a few minutes then same problem

Check to make sure that a CCFL has not burn out. If this is not the case you will have to repair the Power Inverter unit. Be very careful as these Caps can store LETHAL Voltages. TCC
