Monitor suddenly died..replug it and it has power for a couple of seconds but then no power..is the ac adapter the problem and needs replacing? or is the monitor history?

No no the monitor is not history yet :)... it's your adapter maybe. try holding the adapter tightly when you insert it. check the monitor while holding the adaptor.. that should help you find out
Fuji fp-988 19 in flat panel turns on then goes blank [power supply ok] turn off then back on does the same thing
