More questions about tension
I've read your instructions and I'm still a little lost. I have the long spring with the hook bit on the pin first. Next, I have the washer with the wing on the side of it on next, but I am not sure which way to orient it? it kind of clicks into place with the wing pointing away from me and the hook catch part at the top.
Next I have the bent washer then the straight washer, then the bent one again. (bent ones pointing away from eachother)
Then the heavy duty spring, then the washer with the bar across the middle, then the knob.... sadly its still not quite right.!?

Tension on my White sewing machine, Model #1418 is messed up. Lost my temper and took it apart and now I can't get it back together properly. Every combination I try does not work. Need a photo or a better explanation of how it goes back together. Tension has been a continuing problem from the day I purchased this machine. Very frustrating! Thanks
