Motherboard (MSNV-939) won't power-up
My 680 power supply "blew up" (heard a LOUD POP! followed by a very bad smell) and I replaced it with a 500 (both ATX 24-pin + 12V CPU). Now the motherboard won't 'turn on'. The power supply is "on", the LAN
lights are on, but when you push the "on" button - nothing. I tried changing out the "on" switch to see if that was the issue, it was not. I tried verifying the pin setup for the 24-pin and 12V CPU, no problems there. At one point I had forgotten to turn the power "off" before re-inserting the 24-pin connector, and the system briefly acted like it was going to start, everything would spin up and then immediately stop. Tried this a few more times and was able to repeat. I have isolated the motherboard, still no start. I don't have another power supply or motherboard to work with, so I checked the pin continuity with a multimeter. All the pins shot good to ground on the motherboard, and all the power supply's pins shot good to ground at the terminals (4-pin & 24-pin). I will take any advice on how to proceed at this point!
