Motor was not working at all, then cleaned the pins and leads and now the steering works but the propeller does not. I can hear a clicking in the motor area when I step on the control pad but nothing happens. Battery shows a full charge on charger and on test button on trolling motor. I think all connectors are clean now and I'm clicking noise in the motor makes me think that the electrical connections are OK and trying to start the motor. Any advice?
Also, the plug is wired with a Red, Orange, and black wire going to a 3 prong male plug. I want to hook this up to a battery in the garage to test so I do not have to take back to the boat. How do I do that? Is the Red positive and the black neg and the orange an on/off switch wire???? Can I directly wire the black and red pins to the battery leads?
