Motor stopped while turning. It does have power but will not run
Powermatic 1352001 3520B 20x35" Wood Turning Lathe. I was rough turning a chunk of Cherry and the motor suddenly stopped. It did not show any signs of a problem until it stopped. Where do I begin to resolve this?

Motor should have red push botton on back or bottom of motor. This is reset over load breaker . Should be out, just push in until it clicks.
Look at the belt change cover . Sometimes there is a micro switch that will not allow the motor to run if the cover is open
