MotorFault I recently purchased an etx-125pe on first use everything was fine and then when i tried to use it again fault code appeared testing motors. Now when i switch on autostar it allows me to enter all the required info starts alighn then goes into motor fault. when i release the locking mechanism i cannot locate the stops either anti clockwise or clockwise.i have followed all the required info for recalibrating motors to no avail

In response to your email the whole unit is being returned to supplier motor problem is manufacturers electrical fault the meade etx-125pe should have motor limiters fitted which stops the scope slewing more than two revolutions in any direction to stop potential wiring damage this unit does not have them or they are faulty hence motor fault.
