Mounted keypad will not open garage door when I enter the code
I changed the battery. It worked when I took it off ter mount on the outside of the garage and I took it inside the garage and laid it down on my other vehicle, and then it worked. When I took it back outside by where I had it mounted and typed in the code, it did not work again. I did this many times with the same results. This keypad is only 3 months old.

Make sure the battery is good. It isn't uncommon to get one that has been on the shelf for a long period. If you still have the same problem and your hand remotes work okay you keypad is bad.
