move file to a flashdrive, an error message appears: message reads "Error copying file or folder. Cannot copy (Filename). The directory or fille cannot be created. I have searched in Device Manager only to be told there isn't a problem with the device. Thanks in anticipation

I had the same problem with a USB drive and a SD card. Both were only recieving 170 files to the root folder before I got this error. The solution was to reformat each using using 'FAT32' as the file system. This basically is a more modern file system that allows more files and cam about after win95. It looks like some USB drives and SD card are origninally formted with basic 'FAT'.
To reformat right click on the drive in windows explorer and select 'Format...'.
Another option if you dont need all the files in the root flder is to create a subfolder however this was not an option for me as my digital photo frame would not handle this.
