Depends on a few dif things. Have u tried to remove the air filter and spray a light mist of starting fluid directly into the intake (behind air filter) if it fires over at that point it is a fuel issue. Chances are the mower has old gas in it. I would drain the gas tank completely, find the carburetor bowl (again depending on mower setup) on the bottom of carburetor bowl is going to be either 10mm bolt, a fuel solnoid (if its a rider), or a half inch bolt..whichever one u have, u need to loosen it up and drain the has from the bowl. Put new gas in tank and try to start it again. Do not remove the bolt completely, unless u are semi mechanical (at which i would say to remove bowl and clean it. If it runs but shutsoff the carb needs to be cleaned on more of a professional level. If starts and runs you should be good to go. If mower doesnt start w a brief mist of starting fluid, i would say u do not have spark, or a sheared flywheel key from hitting something. If the above doesnt work w starting fluid reachout again thru here and i will again try to help. Good luck i am sure it will fire up for you. Cheers

Make sure petrol is fresh and clean. Check spark plug.
