U must disable some stupid add-ons. Simply click :
1. START 2. all programs 3. Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox Safe Mode 4. In the window that appears check DISABLE ALL ADD ONS and then hit the RESTART MOZILLA button
Worked for me after 2 long weeks without mozilla :) Hope this helps
Try to start firefox in safe mode: by the explorer window, go to c:\program files\firefox then do START, RUN, and type "firefox -saf-mode" normally after you shut it down that way, it wouldn't crash anymore
Start firefox in safe mode. it disables all add-ons. sometimes its the addons fault. if it doesnt crash with all the addons disabled, pin-point the addon whos fauklt it is (disable one by one till it starts crashing)
if it still crashes with all the addons disablet, try to reinstall th mozilla. but even this doesnt have to work
it could be that some of ur programs are interfearing with mozilla (possibly avg internet security) so check what programs u have and do they interfear with mozilla
and sometimes theres nothing u can do.. i heard from some people who couldn't do anithing about that, it is mozillas fault... in tahat case addons are not to blame, reinstalling doesnt help.. i dont think anyone knows how to fix it in that case
I had the very same trouble. Run a couple spyware removers then uninstall firefox. Download it again and reinstall it (luckily I still had my AOL browser) This did the trick for me. Malware corrupted it. after I reinstalled it I found that everything was still there, bookmarks and all.
I had the exact problem. I ran two spyware removers and found that malware had corrupted it. I then uninstalled firefox and downloaded it again on my aol browser and it works fine again. I even got all my settings and bookmarks back.

Here are some tips to avoid Firefox crashing constantly.
Plug-ins like Adobe Reader, Flash Player and Java etc permit Firefox to allocate extra memory when activated and retain the memory when not in use.
You need to install the latest versions of Firefox having these stability and security features.
Firefox crashing Constantly is ensured if download history is let to build up.
All you need to do is go on clicking on 'Tools', then 'Options', then 'Privacy', then 'Download History', then 'Remove Files in Download Manager'. It will be set then.
Firefox crashing constantly is also caused by some viruses and spyware by making Firefox unable to show pages correctly.
The means to avoid this is to update your systems with firewall, Antivirus, antispyware software and don't open dangerous links in e-mails.
Keep in mind to run Firefox in Safe mode hindering all add-ons.
