MP3 in jack is pushed inside the cover plate
My CD/MP3 in jack has been pushed in back inside the cover plate. I can plug plug a 9mm cord into it most of the way, but when I try to plug it in all the way the jack just gets pushed back into the amp. The result of this is that I'm only getting mono sound through it.
I was going to just take off the cover plate and see if I could just push it out a little further it when I put it back on, but I have very little experience with that sort of thing and I don't want to risk damaging my amp.
Any suggestions?

Open the amp and INSPECT the jack. It may require replacing OR simply need to have the pins re-soldered.
These jacks used on guitar amps for the most part are JUNK and easily damaged.
Hint: Loop guitar cables through the handles before plugging in or use a right angle adapter to avoid accidents that bend the plug sideways and BREAK the internal jack in the amp.
