MS-6378X-L 512 Ram not working. My motherboard will not recognize the double sided 512's i got. what could be the problem? it takes one sided 256 and double sided 128 not problem

1. this may be due the manufacturer or your mounting of the RAM itself. It is hard to tell from what you have described. 2. Some RAM sticks may not be built for you PC and take particular brand or configuration which your manufacturer of the PC will point out in the installation manual that came with you PC or Motherboard ( if you built the PC yourself) 3. Sometimes there is a hardware conflict when upgrading new hardware in an older PC. 4. there is also the contacts in a PC that have not been cleaned properly that will result in an failed installation of a device. 5. Some Mother board manufacturers only 2 require sticks of ram as opposed to 1 stick in a particular motherboard for proper operation. 6. check your manufactures site for the proper ram sticks to upgrade your motherboard with.
