Wherever your overhead dome light is, you will be using the wire harnesses appropriate for the connections. The wire connectors will only fit the appropriate connectors. The best way to attach the DVD player to your ceiling is to screw a wooden block (8" W x 6" L, with the length of the block being width) using self-tapping metal screws. There should be a metal cross-member in the ceiling that will permit you to attach the wooden block with the self-tapping metal screws, or you can use a drill to make pilot holes in the metal cross-member and wood, but you will have to make sure that the holes are aligned. Once you have attached the wooden block, you will have to attach the DVD player by opening the screen and finding the screw holes through the main body of the DVD player. You can then use wood screws in the holes to attach the DVD player. If you have any other question concerning this matter, please post here again requesting MTM help.
