My 03 POS Malibu has had $4,000 in repairs the last few years. Now it won't start after driving! Have to wait an hour or so
Ignition lock replaced, fuel pump, head gasket, battery, window switch/motor, you name it. Just had it tuned up, new plugs, wires. It will start, drive a few blocks, turn it off and then it won't start. Wait an hour or two and it starts....Mechanic says he is stumped. Chevy dealer says ignition switch, but can't guarantee that is the problem....HELP?

My pos 03 malibu has the same problems.....replaced head gasket, fixed ****** problems, the usual bearings/breaks/battery issues, new plugs, new wire harness, new blower motor, new wiper motor and drove it the other day and it was fine then BAM wouldnt start. Just got a call from the dealer says its the ignition switch gasket....like a 400 buck repair...fml
Are there any lights on the dash when this happens? Look for a light that says security or antitheft. If you see this, go to this link. That would explain the symptoms
