My 07 ford ranger tool just spins when try to lower spare believe it stripped I am a small female and don't really know how to solve this dilemma was told to cut the cable? what will cut it?
I cant see or get to it to even maybe use tap and die? It feels like it's in the slot just won't catch to turn and lower spare

I don't know where you are but a tire shop will be able to get your spare down once you cut that cable you have to replace the whole unit but if your stuck oh well bolt cutters will do it and fast cut the piece that holds up the tire that you see under the truck
