My 150000 btu lp Reddy heater will not light. I put my magnaheilic gauge on it and when I turn on the switch the fan comes on and the spark ignitor sparks but the gas valve opens for a split second and then closes

There are two possible problems. A flame sensor or gas valve. Try replacing the flame sensor then if that does not work its the Gas Valve.
