My 150cc Lifan(Chinese) scooter kickstart won't return even though the spring is loaded ... and looks good. Any tips on installing the kickstart and reloading the spring? Does it take 2 turns of "load"???

It sounds like the gear inside the Left cover is not linged up right i have the same motor and this web site bailed my out of this problem go to www.scootdawg.com it is a great frourm to find all the manual and repair how to fix your scoot For your info the motor on your scooter is known as a GY6 engine parts are all over the place. www.paertsforscooters.com is where i get some of my parts. let me know if you need any more help.
