My 1969 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is difficult to shift transmission to park. Once it is warmed up and driven a few miles, it gets easier. Where do I start to fix this issue?

My 1969 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is difficult to shift transmission to park. Once it is warmed up and driven a few miles, it gets easier. Where do I start to fix this issue?

The transmission has no issues shift between R, N, D, I, or L. It will stay in whatever gear that I shift to park from.
