My 1991 subaru legacy runs fine when it is cold and will after its warm so long as I don't shut it off. If I shut it off and leave it for a little while then start it up again it misses badly and most of the time if I rev it up a couple of times it will straighten out. Any help would be appreciated

It could be anything from a faulty coil to spark plugs...If you have a check engine light on then you need a diagnostic test done on it and this will display faulty code(s) which you can start this troubleshooting from.Hope this helps.
