I got the bike from a friend that let the bike sit for five years. The Stator windings had a broken lead so I fixed that and the charging system works fine when I started the bike for the first time. The bike would not idle so I cleaned the carbs and the idle now works. So I take my first test drive and, as long as I am accelerating it has smooth performance. But as soon as I let off the throttle the problem is there. I changed the carbs and the problem did not change. The exhaust system is carbon fiber D&D mufflers without baffles. Also the last owner before Myself has cut the air filter cover tubes so that the filter element has no restriction. I am not sure if this problem is electrical or fuel system related.any knowledge or insight would be vary welcomed. Thank you and God bless.
