My 1997 dodge dakota dies at stop lights and doesnt seem to idle where it always had. I put new plugs in and there is no change. a few times that it died, it took a minute or two for the engine to start back up. I have to keep my foot on the gas at stop lights in order for it not to die. please help

It sounds to me like you have an idle issue. Check for replacement of the I.A.C [idle air control] I hope that this helps.
