My 2000 Lincoln Navigator randomly does not start. It turns over, but sounds like it is not getting any fuel. This usually happens in the afternoon when I am ready to leave work
It starts back up every morning and sometimes if I wait about 1/2 hour or more. I have had it in, they replaced the battery, said it could be the fuel pump or ignition assembly, but I think it is somehow electrical. It runs great, but the random start is really old and inconvenient. Auto repair people say they can't diagnose a problem if it doesn't occur when they have it in! It always starts when they have it....
