Report "My 2000 vr6 Jetta has weird electrical issue. When I accelerate above 20 or 30kmh the electrical ii n the car goes out completely. The gauges go dark and the needles drop the climatronic goes dark, no seat power nothing. Thr car still has full power and there's no change in the way it drives. When the RpMs drop then everything pops back on... Someone suggested alternator but it puts out 14.5 volts on multimeter and the car still runs when the negative is disconnected from the battery I cleaned the grounds under the battery but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"
