My 2002 Lincoln LS didn't pass imission because won't senor I was told to use gas treatment n drive awhile then bring it there is no engine light. Which do I use and is this true?
Your post is confusing ok you didn't pass inspection did you remove the battery cables to clear codes or to do regular work requiring the battery to be disconnected I don't understand what senor won't means but if the battery was disconnected there are midules that must be set and once they do there will be a P1000 code set and your vehicle will be ready for inspection this requires at least 30 or more miles to be driven and if it's your EVAP MODULE THAT'S NOT SETTING IT MUST BE DONE AFTER OVERNIGHT COLD AND STEADY DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY GO TO AUTOZONE AND GET A READ OUT OR ANOTHER SCAN TOOL THAT SHOWS YOUR SYSTEM MODULES GAS TREATMENT IS GOOD FOR THE SYSTEM BUT YOU WON'T PASS INSPECTION UNTIL THOSE MODULES CLEAR AND YOU GET A P100 SYSTEM READY CODE WHICH YOU WILL SEE ON A GOOD SCAN TOOL ALL MODULE'S WILL BE GREEN OK ANY REDS OR NOT READY YOU WILL FAIL THE INSPECTION
