My 2003 Sedona 2.9 diesel has a terrible rattling sound from the driver side of the engine. It does not get slower or faster when you accelerate and sometimes stops all together. You do not notice it once the engine goes over 2000 rpm as I think the vibratin stops it. i have had it in the garage for a day and they cant figure it out. it only started once I had the CAM belt changed any ideas ?
Sounds like maybe the valves are tapping the piston,i would have that job rechecked before damage is done, that belt needs to be lined up correctly. if it started after the cam belt then i would take it back and let them take another look or take it somewhere else and give them the bill if its there mistake, but give them the first try at it. hope this helps,
