My 2004 BMW 745LI will kill a battery after a couple starts I changed the battery and same thing happened it says transmission fail on the panel. If I start it and put it in gear I'm fine but after a couple mins it says transmission fail and stays in park???

Some equipment drain the battery you need to see which one probably the glove box light or one off the door light switch,all the best.
