My 2004 malibu classic won't start. it will turn but will not fire. the door locks have been behaving oddly for a while and the anti theft light came on randomly a few days ago. i think these problems are related to the same electronc problem but have no idea what would cause this

Actually all your problems could be caused by a weak battery. Take the battery to your auto parts store and have them test it. If you've never changed the battery it's old enough to need it.
