Hi '04 Ody owner, I too have the save vehicle and have had some problems with my CD player/radio as well. During my online research, I have learned several things that you may find helpful.

First, if your radio loses power (dead battery, disconnected battery, pulled or burnt fuse), it will needs a 5-digit code input using the pre-set buttons to re-activate it. If you say "Code" in the display, that is what it was looking for. This code is usually on a card about the size of a business card that came with the vehicle when you purchased it. Often times it is in the glove compartment with your other vehicle manuals. If you don't have this for whatever reason, there are a couple web sites you can obtain the code, but you'll need your VIN and the serial number on your radio. My serial number was on a sticker on the top of the radio (within the dash). Alternatively, you can go to a dealer, and they may be able to obtain the code for you.

If now your radio won't turn on at all, you will need to check both fuse #9 and #11 within the fuse compartment at the foot of the front passenger well. If those are fine, close the battery in the engine compartment, there is another fuse box. Check those as well - in some instances a box fuse was blown which blocked all power the radio unit. So it seems logical to check this as a possible source.

Check fuse box for blown fuse then remove or have removed the radio and retrieve the radio serial number off the back, then go to your local honda dealer and they should bee able to help you
