My 2005 Quest has power side door problem.Opens fine but when closing it will only come about half way then go back to open. We have vaccumed @ wiped it all clean does not help.Keith

Most commonly caused by binding hinges due to lack of lubrication.door has anti crush feature .unusually high amp draw caused by hinges is interpretted by controller as an obstuction in door and it reverses.lube hinges generously with rust penetrant and cycle door while doing so.takes some time but usually does the trick.
