My 2006 ford five hundred AWD sounds like a race car engine ? Is that normal ? It only has 35 thousand miles. Everyone that gets in the car says why does it sound like that
The car I just received had a full diagnostic. The car is a 2006 Ford Five Hundred AWD. It has 36 thousand miles. In the two weeks I've had it the passenger floor keeps flooding with water. I'm hoping it's just a clogged ac drain but can't find the drain. Also the car sounds like a Indy race car. Is that normal ? It rides fine other than a slow get up and go. The tachometer also goes to 2 before winding down when first going.its my first AWD and I'm just confused as heck

The tach going up is fairly normal. They all do it. 2K is kind of high. Clean the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body. This will also take care of the slow go, unless you need a tune up. The drain tube is on the passenger side of the firewall, a 90 degree angle tube. Blow air into it, this will unclog it. THe race car sound is , no resonator, bad muffler or both....
