My 29ltd NW Classic will power up but will not transmit or receive. Occasionally it will, but then suddenly go dead. Sometimes I can tap on the bottom of the cb and it will kick back in momentarily, only to go dead again. What could this problem be? Some research I have done says it could be a short in the C122. I thought if a capacitor shorted then it would not work at all. I don't know.....any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi I had the same problem on my cobra uk 29 ltd st night watch it turned out to be dry solder joints if you remove the top cover and look to the right of the board you should see a oblong silver protector cover i found if i taped it lightly it worked then it didnt so i removed it the dry joints were under there hope this helps.
