My 3 year old barely used Whirlpool Gas Oven has stopped heating. The gas stove top still works. Whirlpool customer service told me to clean out the gas chamber with a pin...there's nothing TO cleanout. Help please!

Just had a repairman here today March 31, 2010 for the same problem. $350 repair bill. There was a short in the gas valve that cause it to go bad and it also blew out the ignitaion computer board. Forget about replacing the ignitor. I already did and that was not the problem. So the qauestion for you is pay for the repair or buy a new stove.
