My 320 GB usb drive is no longer recognized by my computer
Also, it is not recognized on my other computer. I have tried to obtain assistance through this web site and over the telephone. On the telephone I waited for an hour with your stupid recording telling me that all your technicians are busy. Unless I recrive some detailed guidance on how to resolve this problem I will make sure my problem is broadcast by PC World, PC Magazine and Smart Computing with emphasis on your lack of service and the apparent quality of your hard drives.

Very simple solution. Your external storage cabinet for the drive is junk. I opened mine up and its just fitting loosely in it. You will void your warranty if you do - but who cares, the cost to send it in for an RMA is equal to the cost for a 2.5" SATA enclosure. When you open it up, the SATA and Power connector is not all the way in - push it in and then tape it so it holds together. Plug it in and you should be fine. Fixed two of them that way.
