If the history icon is greyed out that means there are locations in your history. You can confirm this by selecting new location or address book. Route to a destination. Then select the icon in the lower right hand side to get back to the main menu. Select Choose Destination and the history button should no loner be greyed out. If that does not resolve your issue, call Rand McNally Tech Support -

Not sure if it will work for you ! But I would plug it in to your PC with UBS cord let set over night it may come back .You may then have to push the reset hope it work's for you
