Report "My 54 plate 807 exec auto had the driver door drop out of alignment and the hinge plate containing the nut for the hinge bolts set within the car door pressing has fractured in many places. The cracks and breaks appear to give an appearance of rough blsck metal as if crystalised and NOT a clear shiny break that youi would expect from good quality metal. The two fixing bolts are set vertically in line. Is this a common cause for a vehicle only five years old and what is the cause of the problem. Terry Lyden"
