cap,rotor ,hv wires and spark plugs seems you skipped the full tune list... did you? will car drive cold.? will car drive with a fast right foot? hot or cold? yes/ no? all filters new, fuel and air??????
are the 1J plugs gapped to spec, not guessed at?
is this the TOY 4AFE engine there? not the toy 7AFE? It is a Toyota for sure. learn whats under hood first. then ask how it works for 100x better answers.
the 4a has cam belt. is it 26years old, ooops...... a 60k mile rubber band. all three prizm/.corolla engine have this belt all three bend valve , ignored. fact. http://www.agcoauto.com/content/List_Of_Interference_Engines
