Does the car turn over but never ctaches???? If so it could be your fuel pump. Easiest way to check this is, undo the fuel cap and let any pressure out. Replace the fuel cap and then get underneath the car and bash (quite hard) on the fuel tank 5 or 6 times. Also bounce the car up and down at the rear of teh car on the side that the fuel cap is. This should build up some fresh pressure into the system.
Once you have done this, pump the gas pedal a few times (but not too much) and then turn the car over with your foot firmly on the pedal.
You may need to do this a few times (the hitting and bouncing) but if it is the fuel ppump it will grab.
Also it may be worthwhile hooking up seom jumper leads to your battery to give it a kick.
If you have a multimeter place it on the battery. You should be reading 12.8 volts. If it is below 12 or close to your battery may be on its way out.
Your starter motor could be shot as well.
The starter motor sits at the back of the engine on the left hand side in the gap at the end of the engine block.
Get a piece of metal pole and a hammer.
Place the metal pole on top of the solenoid of the starter motor (a black cylinder that sits at teh top of the starter motor) and hit the top of the pole a few times with the hammer. This should breath a little bit of life into the solenoid if it is busted.
turn the ignition and see what happens.
Hope this helps.
Also if you try this and it doesn;t work can you give me a little more info and to what is happenbing when you turn the key??
Does it turn over and never catch? Does nothing happen? Are your lights fully bright or dim (interior and exterior)? How old are the spark plaugs / leads?
Any all information is useful with these types of issues
