My 96 polaris 400 sport was low on gas, it was running at idle and died like it run out,add more but will only turn dose not try to start, its getting gas and gas spark but the more i try to start it the more it feels like its loosing compression anything would be really helpful thank you

Drain the carb. Stick in a new spark plug. Only twist the throttle one time then leave it closed for the next five kicks. Repeat process. The power jet on the carb pumps gas into the cylinder each time the throttle is twisted. Too many twists will flood the engine.
