My Acer 1410-2954 net-book - new - doesn't connect wirelessly with Linksys WRT54GS2 V1 router. Another laptop does. The net-book will connect if using a LAN cable. How can I resolve this? I am not sure what my SSID, password, security settings, etc. are. The net-book uses Win7 Home Premium, has 2GB memory

Did you run the linksys software on the new acer?

If it connects with the LAN cable log into the router (probably 192.169.0.1) you can then set the SSID etc. You can then repeat the settings on the laptop
